Why use this API?
This service aims to enable customers to verify payee details prior to a payment being sent, ensuring our customers can make payments with greater confidence and helping to reduce the number of payments initiated with missing, incomplete or incorrect beneficiary account and name details.
Key Features

Swift Pre-validation Service is where real-time information will be provided when the beneficiary bank is participating in the pre-validation service

Where the beneficiary bank is not participating in the pre-validation service, account number can be checked against Swift's historical payments data, which will indicate when payments have been made to the account in the past

Hong Kong Pre-validation Service – This service supports enquiry of a partially masked account name for HSBC Hong Kong bank accounts or FPS proxy
