FA – ETF Order API

Fund Administration – ETF Order API

Retrieve ETF orders that have been approved and validated.

Why use these APIs?

Our ETF Order API can enable operational efficiencies and enhanced visibility through direct access to our platforms. You can retrieve orders that are at a ‘processed’ or ‘reversed’ status – where ‘processed’ corresponds to orders that have passed all approvals and validations. The API contains all data points relevant to Subscription, Redemption, Switch and Cancellation. You can call this API at regular intervals to give a near real time view of orders placed on our ETF Portal and validated in our system.

Key Features

  • Connectivity and efficiency: APIs allow clients and HSBC systems to connect directly, which reduces duplication and manual intervention, improves speed and lower costs
  • Flexibility: APIs allow users to decide when and how to use the data. This agility creates strong user engagement while protecting systems of record
  • Scalability: Ability to incorporate APIs across a wide range of applications
  • Timeliness: Improved data availability as APIs avail the data on near real-time basis, upon completion of the relevant processing of the underlying activities
