HSBC’s Export Regularization APIs enable the client (seller) to seamlessly send Shipping bill or Softex for closure through their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to HSBC for processing. Additionally, clients can check the latest status and further details of their Shipping bills (SB) / Softex, Inward remittance message (IRM) and export regularization.

How Exports Regularization Works [†]

Export Regularization is the process of ensuring compliance with RBI regulations regarding export transactions. This includes submitting export documents to AD Banks and closure of the shipping bills /Softex along with Inward remittance details for scrutiny and approval as well as complying with any RBI Guidelines related to Foreign exchange regulations, documentation requirements and reporting obligations. HSBC’s Export regularization APIs facilitates data based, paperless processing and enquiry of export regularization transactions.
